METALEX 2023: THE INNOVATORS

In the 37^th International Machine Tool, Metalworking, and Allied Industries Event from 22-25 November 2023 at BITEC Bangna, MEGA Tech would like to present the interesting photos from this event under the topic of THE INNOVATORS.

Cerathai Co., Ltd.

Cerathai showcased the robot lines from Universal Robot together with welding machines from Fronius using software from PHA Automation. This smart robotic welding solution is perfect for large workpieces that not only reduce number of welders, but it’s easy to use and reduce the process time.

Digigate Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

               Digigate, the major dealer of measuring tools and software of Thailand, has presented AutoMetric-MW machine in this event as a comprehensive solution for automatic 3D scanning with the speed and capability of inspecting workpieces with small to medium dimensions, replacing the traditional inspection tools. Measurement can be conducted independently without compromising the efficiency and accuracy. This machine has been showcased to allow visitors to observe and test its functionality before making a purchase decision.

Eneos (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

ENEOS is the leading oil brand in Japan, generating the highest sales through the distribution of engine oil and industrial oil. This range includes hydraulic oils, gear oils, slide-way oils, and various greases used in lubricants. In addition to the product offerings, ENEOS also provides aftersales service, offering oil testing as a service prior to purchasing.

Factory Max Co., Ltd.

At the METALEX 2023, Factory Max presented products from NS Tools to visitors. The highlighted products included MRBSH330 – MUGEN COATING PREMIUM Plus 2-Flutes ball end mill which is designed for machining complex parts. It is capable of machining hardened steel up to 70HRC. The tools are made of super micro grain carbide which is considered best in class in terms of crack resistance.

Guhring (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The METALEX 2023 provided an opportunity for Guhring to showcase G-Mold, a new milling cutter range for high-precision finishing that was designed especially for mold making, for the visitors to experience the company’s latest advancements for the first time in the event.

Haimer Asia Pacific Ltd.

Haimer has showcased the most recent model of Power Clamp Sprint i4.0 in METALEX2023. This machine encompasses premium features and an integrated cooling system compatible for all types of cutting tools (Solid Carbide and HSS).

JSR Group

JSR has introduced the portable 3D scanner that has an accuracy of up to 12 microns from Creaform, Handyscan Black Elite Limited model. An example of a prominent feature of this novel innovation emphasizes the usage of 11 blue laser beams to increase the speed in scanning on challenging surfaces in combination with Photogrammetry that comes in the HandySCAN 3D product for taking photos to craft detailed 3D models.

J Tech Machinery Co., Ltd.

J Tech Machinery has presented a machine from Mazak, QTE-200MY SG 3D lathe that has been designed for compactness and optimal efficiency in workpiece production.

Krasstec Co., Ltd.

Krasstec Co., Ltd has showcased a PDS-11032 machine from DADONG PDS as the highlighted product in the event. The machine features a robust folding technique integrates with the mechanical arm from ESTUN that facilitates the processes in carrying, folding, and storing. In addition, Krasstec has a laser machine from HGTECH, as well as tables and workpiece holding equipment from SIEGMUNG, presenting a diverse range of technologies for visitors to explore.

Mazak (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

MAZAK presented automation-ready Variaxis C-600, the 5-axis vertical machining center that designed for versatile performance in a wide variety of materials. It offers a number of tool storage capacities to suit customer needs. The Variaxis C-600 features MAZATROL SmoothAi, the latest controller from MAZAK.

OTA Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

OTA Engineering Co., Ltd has introduced several models of fiber laser machine from Bodor that is capable of cutting sheets and pipes encompassing an exceptional protection system. This allows visitors to explore and select the machine that aligns with the requirements of their factory. In addition, CNC machine with a variety of dimensions has also been introduced, and can efficiently meet the demands of the workpiece and size of the factory.

Palawatr Co., Ltd.

Palawatr introduced the 3D printing technology from Markforged. The highlighted product at the METALEX 2023 included the carbon fiber 3D printer that produce strong parts for use in manufacturing applications such as jigs and fixtures. A wide range of materials and carbon fiber that reinforce your parts are available.

Procurement

In this exhibition, Procurement Centre has showcased EPM-40-1600 sheet metal smoothing machine from XUELON to allow visitors to explore the innovation of sheet metal rolling to contribute to the purchasing decision, which has gained overwhelmingly positive attention from customers.

Precision Tooling Services Co., Ltd.

              PTSC has presented Endmill type CBN from TOWA that features excellent mirror-like surface treatment capabilities on molded workpieces. This tool not only boasts an extended tool lifespan in comparison to other models, but also offers substantial time savings by up to 90% in workpiece millings and reducing costs by up to 67%.

Refinement Machinery Co., Ltd.

              Refinement Machinery showcased the FAST3015-A, a fiber laser from SONGU for the visitors and potential customers to experience and try before making purchasing decisions. Its double servo motor and transmission system enables high-speed cutting of arc-shaped workpieces. The machine is capable of cutting various materials with high efficiency, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum etc.

Sahamit Machinery Public Co., Ltd.

At the METALEX 2023, Sahamit presented the AgieCharmilles Laser P 400 U. With the digital surface texturing technology powered by GF Machining Solutions, the machine provides fully digital operations while allowing the users to achieve high accuracy and environment friendly.

Siam Anankit Ltd. Part.

             The novel innovation from Mach 300 Water Jet from Flow that Siam Anankit has been introduced in Metalex 2023. Flow is initiator of Water Jet machine, which has been presented in the industry for over 50 years. For the most recent model, Mach 300, it utilizes Dynamic Water Jet cutting head, generating workpiece with an outstanding level of accuracy and endurance. In addition, the obtained workpiece can also be used as various parts instantly as it exhibits exceptional smoothness and high resolution.

Sodick (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

            Sodick presented the AL40G, the latest die-sinker EDM. The AL40G, with linear motor and latest electrical discharge technology, is designed for mold making and parts that require high precision. The “Arc-less 4″ circuit greatly improved the performance of die-sinker EDMs. The AL40G is also equipped with the AI machining condition adviser; LN Pro AI.

Sumipol Corporation Ltd.

              

Sumipol presented Crysta-ApexV, the latest CNC coordinate measuring machine

with higher accuracy and speed from Mitutoyo. With its high drive speed and acceleration combined, this machine able to achieve measuring speeds up to 8 mm/s (stylus speed follow along workpieces). The Crysta-ApexV guarantees high accuracy measuring even with the most complicated workpieces and enhanced repeatability.

Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

              Takamaz showcased the latest CNC machine XTs-6 to the visitors to try before making the decision. The XTs-6 features an ultra-compact structure that results in shorter cycle time by increasing speed. The machine incorporates a power conservation function in the non-cutting time. The XTs-6 features more flexible and reduced thermal displacement. This new machine comes as standard with the new F Loader.

Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co., Ltd.

                              Takisawa Taiwan presented NX 2000YS, the new CNC lathe with dual spindle that meet the customer’s requirements for completing their workpiece cutting in one machine. The NX 2000YS machine come with high speed, accuracy and is best for high-volume production that result in shorter return of investment (ROI).

Thaimach Sales and Service Co., Ltd.

              Thaimach has presented T-PAM System (Thaimach Portable Automated Measuring System), which is a product from Thaimach and Nexos Air from Eleven Dynamics. Prior to this, only Nexos 4.0 software was exclusively offered, which is a product specifically designed for industrial applications in collaboration with the robotics industry. In addition to T-PAM, CNC machine from Hurco has also been presented to allow visitors to explore and test the machinery before making purchasing decisions.

Thaisakol Group Co., Ltd.

             In the METALEX event, Thaisakol has showcased NC18LS Automatic sawing machine from JIH-I Machinery. This machine prominently features its speed and high level of accuracy without compromising the sawing efficiency. The speed can also be adjusted and automatically reduced according to the sharpness of the saw blade. In addition, there is also a real-time notification system to change the saw blade.

Tungaloy Cutting Tool (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

                             Tungaloy has introduced DoMultiRec; Multifunctional milling cutter with center cutting edge Milling with the following features: ultimate mobility, highest cost per cutting edge for shoulder milling with center cutting blades, and a flat hole bottom facilitating the process of base flattening.

YG-1 (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

              YG-1 showcased its latest product line; YG SM3 MILL TPKT with new grade YG612 at the METALEX 2023. The new design 3-corner 90° shoulder milling excellence in various milling applications such as facing, slotting and side milling. The YG612 features PVD coating for longer tool life compares to the YG602.
