Mr. Viboon Pungprasert, President of Thai Bioplastics Industry Association (TBIA), said that the idea of developing Thai industries with bio-economy involves the goal of making Thailand ASEAN’s leader in producing and selling bioplastic. Thailand is currently the second-largest bioplastic producer of plants. This technology can also add value to Thai agricultural products, while reducing the production’s carbon footprint.
