Q1: If the industrial trend 4.0 is important, what approach does CERATHAI have in order to develop the technology to meet such trend?
We try to find ways to connect the data to our customers as fast as possible. We have developed the system by using software to work in collaboration between us and our customers. When our customers use any such as the cutting tool products and the is at the minimum level, the system will notify us immediately and our customers do not need to phone us for an order. Therefore, we can take care of our customers immediately. Moreover, we can speculate the stock level of each customer in order to meet the demands and the speed of service. This project is in its preliminary stage and the system is being installed with our main customers. There is a plan to expand such project to our customers in every sector to meet the demands of each customer in the future. Besides, we can design and install a new line of production for customers who want to expand their manufacturing base because we have expertise and machinery as well as tools ready for the whole system installation. It is easy to collaborate and install a new line of production for customers as Integrator Total Solution.
Q2: What approach does the company use in order to look for and develop products and service to improve and expand the industries in Thailand?
Regarding the technologies to increase the potentials for customers to move towards Industry 4.0, the first thing we need to understand is that customers do not necessarily need to focus on automation system or robot only. Customers can think about eco-system which is the convenience and user-friendliness. We use automation system and Collaborative Industrial Robot to increase the manufacturing efficiency and these technologies are gaining attention and growing rapidly because of the design. Moreover, they are developed to work with humans under the Plug-and-Play principle and therefore they are easy and convenient.
What our customers get from us is that CERATHAI will work out the installation of the system with engineers inside the factory from the very first day of installation until the finish date. Users will find out that this robot is easy to connect, install and use. In some processes, you don’t need to write additional PLC commands. You can manufacture different kinds of workpiece to meet the demands. The robot can replace the work by human in the manufacturing process in an effective manner. Humans need only to supervise the robot. One person can supervise 4-5 stations of the production line.

Q3: In 2019, will the company offer new products or solutions to meet the current demands of the entrepreneurs?
We are planning to adopt Additive Manufacturing technology in the production line for the entrepreneurs, that is, Metal 3D Printing from Renishaw which uses metal powder bed fusion (laser melting) system. This system can cut a complicated and detailed workpiece in an effective manner, including workpieces which cannot be used in CNC, such as the highly complex cooling system in the mold, medial tools, artificial organ, airplane parts and automotive parts. It will be launched for the first time in METALEX 2018 this year. Besides, we are using Collaborative Industrial Robot with peripherals to show how easy it is for work and it meets the manufacturing demands in every industry.
