Mr. Panyaroj told us, “After taking the position of Country Manager, my roles and responsibilities have increased. I begin with planning the marketing strategy to push the Sales Department to apply it for higher sales and goal achievements, as well as make adjustment to the human resource management to meet the objectives in a greater extent, especially in the Service Department to quickly respond to the customer demand and ultimately align with the customer need. These responsibilities cover Thailand, The Philippines, Lao PDR, Cambodia, and Pakistan.
As the measurement equipment market is experiencing more challenging competition and entering the Industry 4.0 era, the manufacturers accordingly need to develop their products to outperform their competitors. Hence, Hexagon’s main policy focuses and proceeds the development on Software and Smart Solution to truly support Industry 4.0 and offer them to the customers alongside with our measuring machines whether it is Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software, or software to create CNC program for Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). In addition, we emphasize on bringing more AI systems to the production process to serve Smart Manufacturing in full scale.”
CMM: Global S, The All-Time Favorite
Mr. Panyaroj said with pride that “The Global S 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is Hexagon’s most popular measuring machine. It has higher capability than other conventional CMMs in terms of measurement precision with a very small measurement error of only 1.3 micron, and speed of tactile and non-contact measurement such as laser scan. Additionally, Global S can be easily connected to the Automation System because we will upgrade the Controller and Software to be perfectly compatible with the Automation System.”
Mr. Panyaroj added that “In 2020, Hexagon Thailand was very successful with the special promotion offer for CMM of the Explorer Performance Model resulting in the promotion extension until December 2021. The Explorer Performance CMM is the lower model than Global S with more affordable price. Therefore, it is suitable for CMM beginner users but with full range of efficiency and measurement application.”
After-Sales Service, The Never-Overlooked Key
We place importance on after-sales service as our priority. Hexagon will reserve spare parts to provide services to allow the customers to receive the spare parts quickly with no effects on the customer’s production process. We regularly send our sales and technical support staffs to the overseas training. This is to let them bring back the knowledge and skills to provide services to the customers in a quick, accurate, and responsive manner to the customer demand. Hexagon Thailand has 11 technical support staffs who provide services to the customers both in the domestic and overseas branches.
