Tokyo Boeki Techno System Limited has successfully developed the latest Handheld Flush & Gap Measuring Machine with the name of Gap Ninja earlier this year. The new measuring machine has been developed from the previous Master Eye machine which has gained wide popularity and continually improved for a decade.
The Company realizes that Flush & Gap inspection during an assembly process is as important as other inspections because Flush & Gap value indicates the quality level of such assembly, so Flush & Gap inspection is essential.
The concept of the Gap Ninja development is that now most users are using Taper Gauge and Level Gauge to check Flush & Gap which is done one by one and the device may contact or scratch the workpiece, causing damage. Moreover, the measuring value may not be precise as it usually depends on each user’s perception. The Gap Ninja machine is therefore developed as the solution with an aim to enable users to work more conveniently and quickly. The Gap Ninja machine is able to measure both Flush and Gap by pressing a single button and display the measuring value on the screen in only 1.2 seconds. It also enables the measuring value downloading for a record or other purposes. In addition, the new Gap Ninja machine can simultaneously connect to up to four computers via WiFi and completely and precisely store data on both sides of the workpiece with laser and 2 sets of cameras.
The Gap Ninja machine is compatible with various types of works including internal and external automotive assembly measurement such as White Body or CBU Car prior to release from the production line and CF and workpiece inspection prior to assembly. It can also be used in other industries such as inspecting assembly of refrigerators and other electrical appliances.
Apart from logic design for various measurement patterns, the report is flexibly created and adapted to different customer needs, including its appearance which is optimized with the purpose of usage. VBA Macro can be used to fetch data from the report in CSV.File format to each customer’s report. There are also other programs available on the server in case that the user wants to send the report to the customer’s server.
Now the Gap Ninja machine is based on both Standalone and Robot connection which is developed and improved by our team in order to be customized according to customer needs and used as At-line or Offline application.
