Machine Bed: The machine bed is designed according to optimum mechanical principles, ensuring maximu stability and vibration free operation. The machine bed is constructed of high quality “MEEHANITE” cast iron and has been heat treated, normalized and precision ground brefore machining, The slideways are also heat treated and precision ground, making this machine virtually disortion-fee.
Hydraulic motor for regulating wheel via direct-drive transmission: There is no interference with the reducer and the temperature of worm gear box is risen, which can maintain the accuracy and stability of regulating wheel in both of high and low speed Due to the regulating wheel is direct driven. The preloaded of the regulating wheel will increase the rigidity obviously. Operators can adjust the optimum grinding speed ratio between the grinding wheel and regulating wheel within different O.D. of the workpiece. That’s why the accuracy and the roundness of the workpiece in fine grinding process are better than other system.
1. High torque: The hydraulic motor features high torque even at low speeds. The Regulating wheel remains exceptionally stable and smooth even at low revolutions. So there will be no more pauses and vibrations which occur in chain drive system
2. High rigidity: The regulating wheel is direct driven by the hydraulic motor via the couplings. The Preloaded of the regulating wheel will increase obviously This desing offers a better grinding condition to the different material of the work piece. It will also increase the grinding efficiency
3. Roundness : The directly driven regulating wheel also lets the operators easily adjust the continuous variable transmission system freely within the rpm. Operators can adjust the optimum grinding speed ratio between the grinding wheel and the regulating wheel whith the different O.D. of the work piece, while there is only 5 or 6 speed control in the chain-drive system and it very hard to find the optimum grinding speed ratio. While the regulating wheel runs in high revolution (310rpm) during the dressing, the run out will kept within 2 microns via this direct-drive system, but for the chain-drive system, it pretty hard to get this performance (within 2 microns). That why the accuracy and the roundness of the work piece are more easily achieved than the chain-drive system.
Hydraulic Oil Cooler (Standard Accessories)
Increases bearing life by keeping the connection between spindle and alloy bearings stable. The Workpiece dimension will not change due to temperature change. A reduced oil temperature prolongs oil seal life, thereby reducing oil leakage.
