On 16-18 September, Bystronic organized a sales workshop for the company’s sales employees at Ha Sip Ha Resort, Ko Chang Sub-district, Trat Province, with the purpose of enabling sales employees to invent new and more effective sales innovations to maximize customer satisfaction. MEGA Tech was also given the opportunity to interview Mr. Norbert Seo, President Region APAC at Bystronic Group about this event.

Mr. Nobert said to open the conversation that “Since the pandemic erupted, it has been three years after Bystronic conducted a Sales Workshop. During this period, Covid-19 has changed the dynamic of operating a business. Digitalization is speeding up; we no longer require organizing meeting face to face which will impact the relationship and communication among the team and the customers.

At such, when the border reopens, it is a great opportunity to organize a session, gather everyone together from all part of Southeast Asia to improve the synergy among them. Bystronic staff has always been in “fighting” mode to help growing the business and help the customers with our solutions to stay ahead of the competition. This is also a chance to let the staff get off from daily work and concentrate in building up their soft skill and brainstorm on new initiative to handle today’s business.

The workshop involves participants from Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. In this workshop, participants get to share insights on the economic situation in their respective country. They also get to share challenges that they are facing from the impact of the pandemic and brainstorm together to improve the situation. Apart from this, the teams will also share on the resources and support that they can provide for other subsidiaries.” Mr. Nobert said about the primary purpose of hosting Bystronic Sales Workshop
Mr. Nobert said about what benefit would the salesperson gain after attended this workshop “Customer loyalty is the focus in today’s business context. With companies getting competitive, customer spoiled with choices, we need to come up with a strategy that benefits both customers and the business..”
