On February 2nd 2024, MEGA Tech was honored to attend the press conference to launch the largest Trumpf machinery and technology center in Thailand, and the first in Southeast Asia. The event showcased an innovative 24-kilowatt laser cutting machine, alongside the strategic business guidelines in the latest campaign “YOU WIN”, reflecting the commitment to propel technology forward, fostering novel possibilities and unveiling initiatives at the Trumpf Customer Center.
Dr. Philipp Meyer, the executive of TRUMPF Ltd of Asia, shared with the attendees “recognizing the promising potential growth in the metallurgical industry in Thailand where the essential key factors such as machineries and technology stand paramount in the efficient evolution of the manufacturing sector, TRUMPF, as the innovative leaders who presented solutions with cutting-edge technology for sheet metal processing machines, laser technology, electronics, and the industry 4.0, we take pride in our position as catalysts for behind-the-scenes innovation that propels the technology into the future world with novel advancements, pushing the industry forward in unprecedented ways. This is especially for the technology with an increasingly pivotal role in driving the industrial sectors in worldwide, including Thailand. Mr. Decha Lertvilaisak, the general manager of TRUMPF Thailand and Philippines revealed “TRUMPF has established a Customer Center in Thailand, showcasing TRUMPF’s machineries and technology, marking the debut of the first showroom of TRUMPF in Southeast Asia. We have elected to establish this in Thailand as we recognize the potential to serve as a pivotal hub within the machinery and technology industry in the region. The first Customer Center in ASEAN is situated at TRUMPF Thailand, spanning a total area of 700 squared meters, is proud to present machinery innovations tailored to meet the evolving demands of both domestic consumers and those across Southeast Asia. In addition, we can accommodate the diverse demands of entrepreneurs across various industries. Presently, our Customer Center showcases an array of industrial machines tailored to meet these demands, for instance, laser cutting machines for sheet metals, sheet metal folding machines, metal drilling machines, and Smart Factory Solutions. Mr. Decha Lertvilaisak, the general manager of TRUMPF Thailand and Philippines, also revealed the innovation of solutions for the novel 24kW machine “the innovation comprises a laser cutting machine boasting a total power output of 24 kilowatts. The laser cutting machine promises to significantly increase the efficiency and speed of operations by up to 3 times in comparison to 6kW laser cutting machines. Specifically tailored for the thick metal processing industry, this laser cutting machine offers a unique capacity where it can cut the metals with thickness of up to 50 mm and can cut various metals. Notably, its cutting efficiency is distinguished by its efficiency, speed, accuracy, and user-friendly operation”.
