MACHINE FEATURE
■ High-accuracy feed mechanism
Creased the rigidity of feed direction by supporting the ball screw with high-rigidity bearings. Moreover, a floating plate has been adopted on the wheelhead and table to absorb ballscrew runout. By absorbing runout while maintaining rigidity of the feed direction, high feed accuracy and improved straightness and surface integrity has been achieved.
■ Master hand scraping
For an extended period of time with peace of mind, our expert technicians perform “scraping” on both the wheelhead slide and table slide. This achieves high straightness, prevents wear of sliding faces and high-accuracy grinding, as well as enables accuracy to be maintained over the long-term.
■ Achieving high accuracy machining and improved productivity
Thorough thermal management is implemented to maintain stable dimensional accuracy from a cold start. In addition, high positioning accuracy guarantees high precision cylindricity even during long traverse machining.
