Michael mentioned the starting point in expanding the business into APAC “From my perspective, there appears to be significantly positive changes occurring, as the majority of people are returning to their normal lifestyle after the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, there is a rise in bright and intelligent generation of people who are highly connected. I believe, especially regarding this territory, APAC, there is high potential for automation due to an increased number of car manufacturers in the country, where the local people are also amiable in terms of customer service. Additionally, as can be noticed, several companies from Germany have relocated to Thailand for production purposes. As a consequence of having a strong network and export base, recognition can be gained among customers. Mr. Taveesak Srisuntisuk, the Managing Director of Thaimach, which is our master distributor of in Asia, has a huge network and is well recognized by the majority of people. I strongly believe that Thailand is highly prospective and can present new opportunities for Asia, as it is capable of shipping to various countries. Hence, the potential for automation is highly promising and can be brought forward for a brighter future.”
Debut of T-PAM System (Thaimach Portable Automated Measuring System)
“ Our product is everywhere because it is software. Today, we show here the T-PAM System (Thaimach Portable Automated Measuring System) which is a product of Thaimach with Nexos Air. We, formerly, have only Nexos 4.0 software. Nexos 4.0 is our product, which is for industrial applications with industrial robots. it’s our high-end software which can help customer to save a lot of money from production, but it is still high cost for simple applications. Therefore, we just release here in Metalex 2022 “Nexos Air” which is a new software for the small co-bot solutions, meaning that it is suitable for hand-held sensors and small systems. Nexos Air is our results that we were searching for software with a good price as entry level products. We see a lot of potential right now especially in Asia with Nexos Air which we believe it really fits the market needs.
Our highlight concerns the limitless options and directions we offer to our customers, denoting that any hardware or robots can be selected. To add on, options can also be selected from the metrology software that necessary to the customers. As of today, we can work with Polyworks, Verisurf, Spetial Analyzer, and Inspire. Regarding the robots, we can work with, for example, Fanuc, Kuka, and Yaskawa. For scanners, we can work with, for example, Aicon, Scantech, and Prime Scans. As can be noticed, there are no limitations regardless of the diversity in the customers’ requirement.” Michael spoke with confidence
The uniqueness of Nexos 4.0 concerns its ability to start in the absence of a hardware, as it is a digital twin. This is then followed by the real world, which consequently provides you the 4.0 process.
When a huge metrology serve is performed, for instance, for 1 million Euro, the cost may appear to be the main hindrance. And this one comes free of charge because the customers are buying the product, like an arm, so before they buy, maybe manual Faro arms, but this one you must use by yourself. So, we have the next generation of arm stake and work automatic. And this is a close market.
Respecting Nexos 4.0, we always propose pre-approved concept to customers. To begin with, the desired prototype is investigated, such as the accuracy and security of the system. The small fee covers the investigation process and is charged dependent on the region . In return, the customers receive the digital twin, where several benefits can be gained from the precise data it provides, for instance, the duration of measurement process and its accuracy. As a result of the digital twin, it facilitates the customers in deciding to proceed investments on the software.
Business expansion plan in the year 2023
Michael summarized the business expansion plan “ We plan to increase our online performance in the future, including developing an application, reinforce the sales & marketing department, and concentrate on the technical aspects. As a demonstration, I myself being a salesperson, and my trusted colleague Santiago, a technical specialist, create synergy to achieve the targets. Our primary target for next year is to increase the employment. We look forward to have a local person residing in Asia who is supportive in terms of business aspects, as we will be requiring specialists in that matter, at least one person to support sales and one additional to support technical.
We are looking forward to increase our employment to bring our business forward. At the present, we have several installations, including in the UK, Germany, and within BMW, and Audi. Additionally, we have upcoming projects in Brazil and Mexico.
We provide Thaimach with the majority of our information in the cloud in order for our partners to gain accessibility to our content. There are several contents present due to the case study research, which can be presented to the market. From the perspective of a software company, it is always essential for our master distributors to enter the market with their own strategies, as they are able to communicate in various languages and hold strong connections with the local residents, market, and suppliers, including robot companies.
