Yamawa’s philosophy is based on the belief that it is important to create good screw threads with accuracy and reliability through accumulated knowledge and technology. This philosophy can be found in the high-performance taps in the “Z-Pro Series”. There are 2 models in the Z-Pro Series.
1. VUSP coated spiral fluted taps for blind holes have been specially developed for improved chip evacuation, moderately high speed and longer tool life for the taps.
2. VUPO coated spiral pointed taps for through holes have been designed for longer overall length, better tapping and new chamfer design; hence, improved chip evacuation. There are also improvements in other features resulting in good, complete and precise threads.
