MEGA Tech presents a double-column machine from SINO with all major components use high strength Meehanite casting which adopts resin sand molding and multiple stage aging treatment to increase vibration absorption for a longtime stabler accuracy FEA designed integrated rib reinforcement, provides excellent bending and torsional stability, to ensure rigidity of the castings.
Through the use of state-of-the-art computer technology, all major components (bed, worktable, column, beam, saddle, ram, etc.) are analyzed for static and dynamic characteristics and response by finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure the proper design for the best performance of the machine in the dynamic and static state.
During machining process, X axial force make impact on machine body, which is supported by foundation for balance.
Realized by the ladder design, Z axial force direction returns to column, which is contrary to normal axial force direction, then convey to the foundation.

Main Parts
01 Spindle case
With large cross section design, it improves spindle case rigidity by 20% compared with other.
02 Saddle
Large contact surface standard guideway, manual scrapped guideway and wedges, inner side with regular hexagon design for higher rigidity and one piece of screw nut seat improve machine accuracy.
03 Ram
Ladder design makes the spindle center always vertical to workable, which can improve the machining accuracy.
04 Worktable
Groove is designed to prevent cutting fluid from flowing into inner side of the machine. So better slider accuracy can be guaranteed.
Main configuration
01 Spindle
The spindle is of short nose type, which had good rigidity. It can improve the machining efficiency and reduce tool costs.
02 Double nuts
The purpose of this design is to preload the two nuts against each other and achieve two-point contact on the balls. It eliminates axial clearance and helps build additional stiffness, keeping the nuts centered on the shaft.
03 Roller linear guide
Higher load capacity & higher rigidity. The line contact formed by rollers provides higher rigidity than the point contact formed by balls. Benefit from the rigidity of roller rail guides, less deflection of the guide block means less deflection of the milling process, resulting in a higher quality machining.
04 Stober reducer
STOBER reducer provide 10 years of no maintenance operation with no oil leaks, no rust, and no water ingress. The total ratio is 1:4 which increase the torque of feeding axis.
05 Disc oil skimmer
Disc skimmers work in a higher pick up rate by mounting to the top of the tank and running a lare diameter disc into the coolant surface.
06 Spindle oil cooler
It is helpful in extending the service life of machine tools and the cutting tools.
Machine Series
Our double column machining center are divided into four series according to spindle structure, they are belt type, direct type, square ram type and gear head type.
01 Belt type
All DCMC are standard equipped with belt type spindle which can offer higher rigidity but competitive price.
02 Direct type
Spindle motor directly connects to spindle through high quality carbon fiber coupling, spindle motor thermal-protective plate with oil cooling, Mayr brand high torque high rigidity carbon fiber coupling (TKs = 975Nm), which helps to fullfill the nice performance of main motor as overturn torque is much reduced, and Hydraulic tool clamping and unclamping for spindle unit.
03 Square ram type
Square ram spindle is designed for rigidity and powerful milling.
04 Gear head type
Compared with belt type and direct type, gear head is with much higher rigidity, better for heavy cutting.
