On the 6th and 7th August, 2019 Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence organized HxGN Local Technical Seminar 2019 at Novotel Hotel Bangna. It was a technical seminar and a demonstration of real products with participation of partners and a vast audience who were interested in the seminar.
Mr. Taveesak Srisuntisuk, Managing Director of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence announced that currently Hexagon has over 20,000 employees in 50 countries. In 2018, the net sales reached 3.8 billion euros. The massive volume of sales or 51% was from Industrial Enterprise Solution (IES) and 49% was from Geospatial Enterprise Solution (GES). Moreover, we have products which can cover and fully support Smart Factory, such as the use of IoT for a real time operation through a variety of smart devices.
In the event, there was a special lecture on technique to measure workpieces by using CMM. The talk was by lecturers from Thai-German Institute. Other topics were presented by special speakers from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. The topics during the seminar included solutions and applications of CMM for inspection in manufacturing industries, 3D portable technology, 3D Scan inspection to increase the efficiency of your inspection, software called PC-DMIS and the updated features of the latest version, how to increase the quality of manufacturer through automated workpiece inspection, how to manage smart factory and how to analyze SPC value and Cpk Value automatically.
Participants saw first-hand demonstrations of every product in 6 bases. The last session of the event was a game for participants to win prizes.
